DENSAY SHIPPING is a global shipping company in dry bulk cargo and tanker market looking for new team members for Commercial Operation Department:

Responsibilities:

•⁠ ⁠Liaising with Charterers, masters, agents and dealing with daily post fixture works of vessels,
•⁠ ⁠Agency appointments & port disbursement settlements
•⁠ ⁠Monitoring vessel daily performance as per CP requirement
•⁠ ⁠Agency appointments & port disbursement settlements
•⁠ ⁠Bunker management/supply when/where necessary
•⁠ ⁠Follow up hire/freight payment from Charterers
•⁠ ⁠Settlement of laytime calculations and collection demurrage
•⁠ ⁠Drawing up or checking charter parties
•⁠ ⁠Performance monitoring of vessels under management
•⁠ ⁠Keep close contact with technical manager to support when/where necessary
•⁠ ⁠Liaise with P&I and H&M for any claims to handle dispute/claims
•⁠ ⁠Prepare P&L at the end of each voyage and report to head of department
•⁠ ⁠Date entry to software(s) used by the company and keep all records/data updated

Qualifications/requirements:

•⁠ ⁠Minimum 5 years experience in post fixture/commercial operations in dry bulk cargo market,
•⁠ ⁠Knowledge of shipping law, marine insurance and International Maritime regulations,
•⁠ ⁠Willing to pursue a long terms career in a leading company in shipping,
•⁠ ⁠Good command of written and spoken English (Advanced)
•⁠ ⁠Preferably onboard experience as experienced Chief officer/Master in dry cargo vessels,
•⁠ ⁠Preferably have experience using IMOS software
