We buy, charter, and lease ocean-going vessels to transport commodities across the world’s oceans. We own 45 vessels (43 bulk carriers and 2 product tankers) Our Shipowning division is responsible for the ownership, employment and operation of our bulk carriers and product tankers. 

We actively manage our cyclical market exposure by identifying opportunities in the second-hand and newbuilding markets. We leverage our excellent track record and long-term relationships with shipowners, shipyards, brokers, and financial institutions to ensure fleet renewal and growth. We utilize asset price volatility to determine the optimal time to buy or sell vessels. We create value by optimizing our fleet composition between various segments and sizes by understanding, forecasting and trading the freight market cycles accordingly. We invest in quality, ecotonnage with lower SOx, NOx and CO2 emissions.
